JAYDE & ROB’S WEDDING

Jayde and Rob were married in Bendigo on Saturday 18th October  2008, in a beautiful ceremony at Rosiland Park. They had decided to keep things very simple, so instead of having an official bridal party they chose to have two special friends act as witnesses for signing the register, and have lots of photographs with their family and friends. There actually was one very special attendant though. Charlie, their darling 3 year old daughter, was Mummy and Daddy’s flower girl. Charlie pretty much stole the show… and my heart. What a little doll!

Jayde and Rob both got ready (in different rooms….) at Hunter House which was also their reception venue. Because their family and friends are not local to Bendigo, most of them also stayed at Hunter House. It made things very easy for everyone, all being in the same place. I must say Hunter House is one of my favourite locations in Bendigo to take photographs. As you look through these images I think you’ll see why!

Some beautiful rings and things….

Jayde looked stunning.  Absolutely stunning…

MELANIE & BEN’S WEDDING

Melanie and Ben were married on Friday 26th of September at Quat Quatta, a magnificent historic home in Ripponlea, Melbourne.  They’re just the sweetest couple, and from the first time I met them I just loved their level of excitement regarding their up coming wedding and their enthusiasm about the  photography.

We began the day photographing Ben and his groomsmen getting ready in a gorgeous old home in St Kilda.

KRISTY & JOHN’S WEDDING

Kristy & John were married in Horsham on the 2nd of August, 2008. I have never photographed a wedding in Horsham before, but I’m so glad I did this one. There were so many aspects to the day that just took my breath away, and John and Kristy are such a gorgeous, fun and loving couple. Amazingly, Kristy chose to wear her Grandmother’s wedding dress. At the time my sister (and assistant) Sue commented to me that it takes a very special girl to want to wear her Grandmother’s dress. Someone with a deep sense of family and history, and with enough grace and poise to wear a genuine vintage dress. The sight of Kristy in that dress was so moving. I simply can’t imagine how Kristy’s mother must have felt, watching her daughter put on her own mother’s gown.

My New Photo Journal

Thanks for stopping by. I’ve always wanted to start a journal (blog) but could never seem to find the time to get one organised. At last I’ve done something about it, and it’s almost ready. Now I just need to find some time to make posts!  I just gave my website a quick spruce up, and decided to add links to this journal to save having to do it later. I hope to have some posts with photographs up very soon.

So for the time being I will simply say sorry for it’s emptiness, and ask that you stop by again soon.
