Annie Warren’s Photo Journal bio picture

Welcome

Hi there! I'm Annie, a wedding and portrait photographer based in Bendigo, Australia. Welcome to my Photo Journal.....  a place where I display my most recent images and share what's been going on in my world. Photography is much more than a job for me. There is just no bounds to the passion and enthusiasm I have for photographing people. I hope this love of what I do shows in my work.

Thanks so much for stopping by for a look. I hope you stay a while, and enjoy all of the photographs and latest news. Leave me a comment if you're so inclined. I LOVE comments!

KRISTY & JOHN’S WEDDING

Kristy & John were married in Horsham on the 2nd of August, 2008. I have never photographed a wedding in Horsham before, but I’m so glad I did this one. There were so many aspects to the day that just took my breath away, and John and Kristy are such a gorgeous, fun and loving couple. Amazingly, Kristy chose to wear her Grandmother’s wedding dress. At the time my sister (and assistant) Sue commented to me that it takes a very special girl to want to wear her Grandmother’s dress. Someone with a deep sense of family and history, and with enough grace and poise to wear a genuine vintage dress. The sight of Kristy in that dress was so moving. I simply can’t imagine how Kristy’s mother must have felt, watching her daughter put on her own mother’s gown.

Charlotte - I had to come back to look at this set. These are so beautiful. So crisp and clean. I love them, and what a sweet bride to wear her Grandmothers dress-she is glowing in it.

Rebecca - Those are lovely. She is stunning!

gillian jukes - An added comment from the brides mum...The dress Kristy wore was 50 years old and as a child I had worn it around my parents farm as a dress-up gown. Shame on me but full credit to the drycleaning company.

Annie Warren - Oh Gillian, how lovely to see a comment from you on here! What a sight that would have been... you as a little girl playing dress-ups in Mummy's wedding gown! I'm so thrilled to hear your Mum let you do that. It says worlds about what kind of woman she was! She put her little daughters happiness before material possessions. No shame in that what-so ever. (Kudos to the dry cleaning company though!) Now I love these images even more, because I can imagine a sweet little girl prancing around a farm in that dress. It just adds to the history! Lots of love to you...Annie

My New Photo Journal

Thanks for stopping by. I’ve always wanted to start a journal (blog) but could never seem to find the time to get one organised. At last I’ve done something about it, and it’s almost ready. Now I just need to find some time to make posts!  I just gave my website a quick spruce up, and decided to add links to this journal to save having to do it later. I hope to have some posts with photographs up very soon.

So for the time being I will simply say sorry for it’s emptiness, and ask that you stop by again soon.

Sarah - I just wanted to stop by and say that you are an inspiration to me. I have just started my own photography business & I adore all of your photos. You are my favourite photographer & if I get married one day, I will definately be grateful to have you on board to capture the moment. Best wishes & Kind regards Sarah (Bendigo)

Annie Warren - Wow.... thanks so much Sarah. That's SO nice of you. I just can't believe my first ever comment is so lovely, and I don't even have any images on here yet. I feel I don't deserve you! ha ha ha. Don't hesitate to phone me if you want to chat about photography. I'm always here to help any way I can.
