ABBEY & GLENN’S WEDDING

This is another amazing wedding from late last year and one I will always remember with a huge smile on my face!  Oh just wait until you see the wedding cars later in the post!

Abbey and Glenn were married in a tiny town called Prairie, about an hour north of Bendigo, at the historical property of Prairie Park. Their ceremony took place in the garden of the original old home, which is currently under extensive rennovation. The reception was held in a massive white marquee, set up on the property.

I’ll begin with some images of Abbey and her attendants getting ready in one of the beautifully rennovated bedrooms at Prairie Park.

Some final adjustments to Abbey’s dress. The girls electric blue satin dresses looked fabulous, especially with the window light skimming accross them.

Abbey with her beautiful bridesmaids.

Abbey’s darling little neices were just thrilled to be her flowergirls. Oh my, they are SO adorable.

I sensed such a special bond between Abbey and these two sweet little girls. This image just makes me gasp. I decided to give it a very aged, old world look with texture and frame overlays and a low contrast, faded black and white colour treatment. I think it really adds to the mood of the photograph.

Two little blue fairies, jumping for joy. I can’t think of a better reason to jump….

Christina Montemurro - Annie, this is amazing, amazing work! I kept thinking whilst looking at them, “this is my favorite. No, THIS one is my favorite.” If I had to choose, I think I’d pick the ones with them in the window (how cool are they for going up there on their own!) and the off camera lit ones at the end. Fabulous.

robin cornett - I totally agree–every time I thought I had a favorite shot, I saw another one that made my jaw drop. Annie, these are stunning. Every last one of them. I love the tractors, and those bridal getting ready shots are wonderful.

Sylvia Borgo - Oh, Annie! These are wonderful! So classic, so perfect! I am in awe!

Mariea Rummel - Annie! These are amazing! Your clients I bet are thrilled. Beautiful work.

Frank DiMeo - ANNIE! These are incredible!!!
I remember your interest a long time ago in George Hurrell. I think I may have been the one who turned you on to him? He would be proud to see what you have accomplished. It isn’t just your amazing lighting though. Your compositions and poses are so reminiscent of the Renaissance painters. It is astonishing to see how you are combining a little bit of everything to make it your own.
Bravo!!

Zak - These are just beautiful Annie! Love the guys getting ready…so fun, and the ones on the tracks and the fields are great! My son keeps making me go back to the train track ones…he love trains. :)

Arley - Hi Annie,

These wedding photographs are just stunning. Love the use of various landscapes and different lighting.

From the desaturation to the vintage post processing…..they rock!

well done,

arley

Katy - Love all the colors! The flower girls are too cute. Great idea, little ballet slippers for them. So much comfier and fun to run around in! Post processing was also perfect!! Gorgeous stuff!

Sue Thomas - Annie, I was a guest at this wedding, and have seen these photos many times but looking at them again in your journal has brought tears to my eyes. You truly captured the love of these two beautiful people and the spirit of Prairie Park. Congratuations

Amanda - Annie, I know this couple and the photos are absolutely stunning!! You have captured them both magnificently, and Prairie Park which looks fantastic! Gorgeous photos, with pics like these you’d be proud to capture ones special day! Congratulations!

catherine - Hi Annie,

I have been looking at wedding photo’s and wheat fields and am amazed at your photo’s of this wedding. Could you please let me know where these photo’s were taken as I’m looking for a place to have a country wedding in the wheat fields around February 2011.

Thankyou for your help.

PAM & MATT’S WEDDING

*Here is the second in my series of catch up wedding posts from late last year. Another wedding that was so beautiful I just have to show it here.

Pam and Matt are a gorgeous couple who were married in Bendigo on October 4th 2008 in a beautiful ceremony at the Forrest Street Uniting Church, with a reception held that evening at Hunter House. Pam and her bridesmaids got ready in one of the suites at Hunter House.

The girls admiring the gorgeous wedding gown, just before getting Pam dressed.

I love the serene look on Pam’s face, as her sister helps her with her jewellry. She is so elegant, and very beautiful!

A few giggles while putting on the garter.
Pam and her bridesmaids are simply glowing. What a beautiful group of ladies. I love the musk pink dresses and their peaches and cream skin tones contrasting with the blue walls in this room. It really is a beautiful setting.

Pam is a vision of elegance standing in the doorway to the balcony.

robin cornett - Absolutely stunning! So many wonderful shots to pick from, looks like a great day! I love the exit shot from the balcony and the shot in the laneway (is that an aussie word?) And about ten others, so I can’t list them all. Really fabulous!

Roz Mitchell - Oh Annie! These are so wonderful! I feel like I was there! Beautiful bride, handsome groom, one of the loveliest weddings I’ve seen! Fantastic!

Steve - Classy, Elegant, and Fun – Nice work!

Heather Lynne - So many beautiful images! Wonderful job on these! :)

Sylvia Borgo - Annie!!!! These are so fantastic! I know it is easy when you have great-looking subjects, such as this handsome couple, but your composition and your lighting is perfect as well! Wowzers!!!!

Kelly - Every single photo is absolutely stunning! They must be thrilled. The one of her standing in the entrance to the balcony is gorgeous!

Julie - What great photo’s. They all came out wonderful.

Mike Richards - Wow, these are awesome! Just came across your work and it is absolutely beautiful!

Pure Emotions Photog - Oh la la. Annie, these photos are yummy! I love them! They are gorgeous, so happy and carefree around you and it shines like a big ball of sunshine through your images. Again, your lighting skills are flawless and remind me of some of the great photographers. I love the almost kiss shot with the bit of flare between their faces, the shot of his arm around her back with a hint of her face showing , the one of them sitting on the bed because it’s so natural and the lighting is gorgeous! Heck, I love them all but those are the ones I remember without going back and looking. :-) Well done!

Martha Howell - LOVE these! I especially love your use of natural light. I have too many favs to name, but I especially enjoyed the bride getting ready as well as the image of her and her father almost about to walk down the aisle. I can feel the anticipation in the image!

Carolyn - beautiful work! Great combination of timeless and fun!

Sofie - What an amazing set of photos! Absolutely stunning work and some beautiful lighting too. The last image is especially gorgeous!

Francois - Beautiful light, i love it!

ivy - the photos are awesome!!
I love your work a lot…=)

CHANTELLE & MARC’S WEDDING

Chantelle and Marc were married in Echuca on the 11th of October, 2008. Yes… that’s a long time ago, but it was such a beautiful wedding I really wanted to make a post about it. I have been neglecting my Photo Journal terribly, and not made any new entries for a very long time. But now I’m determined to catch up. There are a few weddings from last year that I intend on posting about in the next few days. THEN I can start to catch up on my more recent weddings. Phew…. I have a lot of work to do! Anyway, back to Chantelle and Marc’s beautiful wedding in Echuca.

I’ll begin with some images of Chantelle getting ready with her 3 lovely bridesmaids.

The bridesmaid’s dresses were the palest pink chiffon. Soft, flowing and feminine… and rather Grecian looking.  Just gorgeous.

Oh my, what a beautiful bride! With her divine long dark hair and those mesmerising blue eyes, Chantelle looked amazing.

Zak - These are just beautiful Annie! I love the guys behind the window…and Chantelle and Marc in the laneway. They are a gorgeous couple and must love these to pieces. :)

Pure Emotions Photog - Annie, I have one word: GORGEOUS! I love your lighting. You truly know what you are doing and it shines through in your work. Your couple = hot, beautiful, in love, comfortable being themselves in front of you and LUCKY to have such rad images from their wedding day.

I love too many of them to pick one favorite but I really love the one of them in the car, the bridesmaids holding their bouquets against the awesome door, the one of them playing in the alley, the one of the bride alone against the table with her leg out of her dress looking off to the side and the vertical shot in the church. Beautiful!

Mariea Rummel - So amazing! You have a beautiful talent! I’m bookmarking your blog!

Cheryle Ryan - Oh such beautiful memories, being the mother of the bride I cannot speak highly enough of Annie and her beautiful photography. She has an amazing talent and an incredible eye for detail. Her professionalism and spectacular photos certainly added the finishing touch to a truly special day.

Sofie - You have a great style – it’s very classy and classic. You’re shooting some seriously eye-catching wedding images!

Diandra - Great shots! Very creative!
