Oh Gillian, how lovely to see a comment from you on here! What a sight that would have been… you as a little girl playing dress-ups in Mummy’s wedding gown! I’m so thrilled to hear your Mum let you do that. It says worlds about what kind of woman she was! She put her little daughters happiness before material possessions. No shame in that what-so ever. (Kudos to the dry cleaning company though!) Now I love these images even more, because I can imagine a sweet little girl prancing around a farm in that dress. It just adds to the history! An added comment from the brides mum…The dress Kristy wore was 50 years old and as a child I had worn it around my parents farm as a dress-up gown. Shame on me but full credit to the drycleaning company.

I had to come back to look at this set. These are so beautiful. So crisp and clean. I love them, and what a sweet bride to wear her Grandmothers dress-she is glowing in it.
